Training
We are incredibly passionate about training and development at EDF Group. So, while the day-to-day training and coaching you will receive will differ according to the country you’re based in, we can guarantee it will be of the highest quality. That said, the drive behind this must come from you. It’s a demanding scheme – so you will need to take ownership of your own development to stay on top. Broadly, however, you can expect the following:
Language training
As you might imagine, this is a critical part of your success. You should already be proficient in at least one language as well as English when you join – be that French, Italian or German. But we will want you to learn even more. When you start at EDF Group, we’ll place you on a rapid language course to get you up to speed in the language you need for the next leg of your career journey. It promises to be an intense learning experience.
Professional Qualifications
We encourage everyone here to add to their skills and qualifications. So, if there is a relevant professional qualification you feel would increase your expertise, let us know and we’ll give you all the support we can.
Mentoring and support
In each new country, you’ll be appointed a mentor to provide you with structured support and advice regarding internal career planning, developing expertise and building internal networks. This is something we take very seriously – which is why your mentor will always be one of the most experienced and most senior people in the company.
